I mentioned yesterday that I have been busy with some kind of a project. Here is the big reveal: my daughter is one of 190 students at her high school who take dance lessons. Once a year, in the spring, their dance teacher directs a dance show which is performed by all the dance students. The show is tonight and tomorrow night. I photographed the dancers during the two dance rehearsals with the purpose of sharing the pictures with the parents. Here is a miniature slideshow out of the thousands of pictures I took (the music is obviously not from the show):

 

My daughter has been participating in youth theater since she started middle school. The high school theater group performed their very high quality, really entertaining spring musical, The Addams Family a week ago. Prior to the show I attended a few rehearsals and took pictures of the young actors and actresses. Preserving memories of their hard work was my main goal, and I was also able to raise some funds for the school theater program by donating all income from the sold digital and print images. It felt great to be able to contribute to this outstanding class my daughter is so passionate about.
