LA County Arboretum Visit with my Lensbabies
The Arboretum is huge. Its 127 acres is home to numerous plants and animals, as well as historic buildings. Here is a variety of images portraying the rich flora of the grounds.

During my stay at the gardens I used three Lensbaby lenses, as I have mentioned it before. In my opinion, the Burnside 35 is a great walk-around lens. You cannot zoom with it, but it’s perfect for landscapes, nature, flowers, buildings, etc. Sometimes I prefer the Velvet 56 for flowers, especially, if I want to create dreamy looking pictures. The focusing with the sweet optics is still a bit hard for me, so I don’t use them often. I need more practice with the optics.
The Arboretum is an amazing place; if you get a chance, visit it. You’ll love every minute of it.

I came here because I saw that face in the first flower. A face sticking out its tongue 😉 That’s really great. And I’m thrilled how exactly you document, with which lens you have taken which image – also in other posts!
Herzliche Grüße
Birgit
Thank you for visiting Birgit. I didn’t notice the face on the flower until I downloaded the images into my computer. I felt it summarized my day. 🙂
