I found these images in a folder from the end of last year. I took a walk in a nearby park with my Lensbaby Burnside 35 and on the way back with the Velvet 56. The first image above was taken with the Velvet, the other two with the Burnside. I used Topaz Impression to create the painterly effect.

Today my husband surprised me with a gorgeous bouquet of lilies. It was an anniversary present; we met 18 years ago today, on a very snowy day in Denver, when the power was out in many homes. But we had a wonderful first date at the local On the Border restaurant. My lucky day…

I used the Lensbaby Twist 60 for all images, but the second two were done with macro lenses.

OK, I lied in my last post… It wasn’t the last one about Colorado. I forgot that on the last day I quickly stopped at a spot I had discovered years ago to take a panorama photo of the scenery. Last time there were cows on the field, but no clouds. This time I had the clouds but no animals (except for a few prairie dogs). Maybe next time I’ll have it all…
